CRITICAL CIRCUMSTANCES
Academic and teaching staff will play the role of academic advisors.
They meet students at least once during their first year of study and assist students with various aspects of their learning experience and render Professional Advice as follows:
The student could not decide on taking which Second Major / Minor
The student has limited knowledge of the career opportunities provided by his/her current studies
The student is persuaded against his/her wishes to remain in his/her first (home) major.
The student has shown unrealistic expectations or aspirations which are not compatible with his/her abilities and interests.
The student is not making good academic progress.
Foster a supportive relationship with students.
The student has difficulties handling study stress. The Self-help Corner under SAO provided information that will help to deal with stress.
