Build your Study Plan for at least two semesters from Year-2 onwards
Tips:
- Learn the importance of having a study plan
- Learn the functionality of DegreeWorks (DW) by referring to the “Operation Guide”
(Contact OCIO Help Desk (2948 6601) if you have difficulty accessing DW)
BY 28 FEB
Conduct at least ONE meeting with your advisor
Year-1 UG students
Compose your study plan
Print out your study plan and
Bring the hard copy of your study plan to meet your advisor
Senior Year Entry UG students and Year-1 non-AA programmes students (optional)
Print out your Degree Audit Report (DAR) via DegreeWorks
Bring the hard copy of DAR to meet your advisor
Tips:
- Fill-in the “Information Sheet for Preparing a Meeting with Your Academic Advisor” and email to your Advisor before the meeting.
- For students with fixed curriculum, you can discuss with your advisor your concerns about adaptability to University life, your career plan, learning strategies and assessment rubrics, information on Exchange, Field Experience, Internship and Immersion etc.
- Be punctual for your meeting and be open to sharing information.
